Constituent companies specialise in products and services related to health and medical care. Companies may, for instance, facilitate the provision of healthcare to patients or provide more general medical services.
Others may manufacture medical equipment or drugs, provide medical insurance, or other related services. Companies within those broad categories can include biotechnology firms, major pharmaceuticals firms, makers of standard or high tech medical equipment, health insurance providers and those that operate hospitals, clinics or laboratories.
