The sector mainly reflects business services provided by specialised firms to others. They may, for instance provide support services to businesses, such as office administration, hiring and placing of personnel, legal services (a newish segment in the quoted arena), accounting, design, printing, security services, travel arrangement, cleaning, and waste disposal.
It is a sector which generally responds positively to a supportive economic environment. However, while there are some strong businesses, there have been some well-publicised negative performances as some firms faced notable challenges.
